How to migrate from LastPass to storage-p
This guide moves your data from LastPass into storage-p. LastPass can export your entries to a CSV file, which storage-p imports as a generic CSV. Parsing and encryption happen locally, so your passwords are never uploaded in the clear.
Export and import
- In LastPass, export your passwords to a CSV file (columns such as name, username, password, url, notes).
- In storage-p, open Account → Data → Import.
- Choose the exported file (or paste its contents) and review the preview.
- Import. Each entry is re-encrypted under your master password on the device before it is stored.
After importing
- Spot-check a few items, then run the built-in security audit to catch weak or reused passwords.
- Enable TOTP two-factor and set an auto-lock timeout in Account → Security.
- Export an encrypted backup (Account → Data) so you have a recovery file.
Delete the plaintext export file from LastPass as soon as the import is verified — it contains your passwords in clear text.
